The Process
Consultation
Your esthetician will briefly confirm the service you've booked and answer any questions before you begin. First-timers are always welcome — we'll walk you through exactly what to expect.
Preparation
The area is cleansed and lightly prepped. We apply a thin layer of pre-wax oil to protect the skin and help the wax adhere to the hair rather than the skin.
Wax Application
Our all-natural elastic wax is applied in the direction of hair growth. Unlike strip wax, elastic wax wraps around each hair and flexes with the skin — removing hair cleanly from the root with minimal trauma.
Removal
The wax is removed swiftly in the opposite direction of hair growth. The elastic formula significantly reduces the sting associated with traditional waxing.
Post-Wax Treatment
A soothing post-wax lotion is applied to calm the skin and reduce redness. Luxury Brazilian guests receive an extended skin treatment for maximum comfort and smoothness.
Post-Service Care
Aftercare Tips
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 24–48 hours after your appointment.
Skip tight clothing for the first 24 hours to reduce friction on freshly waxed skin.
Do not exfoliate for 48 hours post-wax — then exfoliate 2–3 times per week to prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 48 hours.
Keep the area moisturized with a fragrance-free lotion between appointments.

How long does a Brazilian wax take?
Most Brazilian wax appointments at iWAXu take 20–40 minutes depending on the service level. A standard Brazilian is typically 20–25 minutes; a Luxury Brazilian may take up to 40 minutes.
How long does hair need to be for a Brazilian wax?
Hair should be at least ¼ inch long — roughly 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving. If you're unsure, let it grow for 3 weeks and we'll take care of the rest.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
Our all-natural elastic wax is significantly gentler than traditional strip waxing. Most guests are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the experience is, especially after the first visit.

What's the difference between Bikini, Brazilian, Full Brazilian, and Luxury Brazilian?
Bikini cleans up along the bikini line. Brazilian removes all hair from the front. Full Brazilian adds a buttock strip. Luxury Brazilian includes the Full Brazilian plus a soothing post-wax skin treatment.
